If you're looking for a cattle chute that works with you—not against you—this is it.

Both sides swing wide open and lock into place with solid slam-latch panels. That means easy access, quick handling, and fewer headaches. There's also one of the largest injection doors you'll find anywhere, so giving shots isn’t a wrestling match.

The rear vertical slide gate? It can go on either end of the palpation cage. And the progressive bar actually moves up as your animal steps forward, keeping things smooth and secure.

Tailgate folds flat on itself—completely out of the way. No catching or jamming. The drop-down doors? They've got blinders built in to keep animals from getting spooked. And they go all the way down for full access.

You’ll like this: there's a foot pedal release on the palpation door, so you’ve got hands-free opening when you need it most.

Controls can be mounted on either side—whatever works best for your setup. And when you're nursing a calf? No need to pull off the lower side doors. Just swing the squeeze lever out of the way and the whole side opens up—even if the animal is squeezed down tight.

The floor? It’s built tough. Denser, heavier, with molded cleats that keep hooves from slipping in any direction. And since they’re molded (not welded), they won’t rust or wear down, giving you longer equipment life.

Now available with bolt-on palpation doors that can be flipped to open from the opposite side. Handy when you're working from both ends of the alley.

Cattle Squeeze Chute FAQs

What is a cattle squeeze chute?

A squeeze chute is a piece of equipment used in agriculture to restrain cattle safely for medical inspection, veterinary procedures, or other husbandry activities. It gently applies pressure on the sides of the animal, keeping both the handler and animal safe.

Are there different types of squeeze chutes?

Yes. Options include manual and hydraulic chutes, with variations in headgate design, side access, and additional features like palpation gates and integrated scales.

How do squeeze chutes improve safety?

They prevent injury to both cattle and handlers by minimizing animal movement and stress during handling. Proper design helps avoid pinch points and blunt trauma.

Are integrated scales useful in a cattle chute?

Yes, some chutes are available with built-in scales for easy weighing, but durability and maintenance of combined units should be considered.

Can chutes be used for procedures like pregnancy checking or castration?

Yes, chutes with palpation gates or side openings are specifically designed to allow safe access for these and other detailed procedures.
